The Alannah & Madeline Foundation has been working for over 25 years to champion the right for children and young people to live happy, safe and strong lives. Our social team has had the privilege since 2021 of being able to assist this incredible foundation through managing some ad campaigns to help get the word out to the right people!
We’ve worked on social campaigns for the Alannah & Madeline Foundation such as their 25 year anniversary, 2021 Christmas Appeal and the 2021 Point to Pinnacle Half Marathon. One of the most recent campaigns our Social Ads Guru, Sarah, worked on with the Alannah & Madeline Foundation was Crushed But Okay. Targeted at 15-17 year old young men, Crushed but Okay uses the power of video to capture the authentic reactions of influencers who’ve experienced rejection in the past. The Crushed But Okay campaign seeks to build young men’s capacity to manage their feelings in response to perceived rejection and to model respectful and ethical online communication. The videos, and accompanying resources, acknowledge that rejection can lead to feelings of shame, depression, sadness and anger, and they give strategies to help build greater resilience.
Assisting to enable impactful campaigns such as this one to reach as many of the right people as possible can really help spread these important messages, and we’re grateful that our team can help execute this goal for amazing foundations like Alannah & Madeline. With social media becoming a daily part of our lives, it’s key that charities and foundations are given the resources they need to create awareness and convert views and clicks to donations and fundraisers.
