Good News Stories

After another big year, it feels wonderful to be rounding up 2021 with some good news stories, as well as learning and insights from the WebSavvy team on what was another exciting Black Friday, Cyber Monday sale period for our clients.

A message from Trevor and Trent

With the continual increase in online activity each year, many of our clients recognised the need to reach users across all stages of the funnel - earlier! Those that were able to capture demand over BFCM had set a strategy to build awareness and consideration many weeks in advance.
Trent Lyons, Head of Google Ads

Every year Black Friday, Cyber Monday or November even, teaches us to prepare and stick to the offers.  For our clients that planned and committed to their plans, the peak sales season went very well.  Being prepared from the offer, products and creative saves a lot of time and resourcing for everyone.
Trevor Henselwood, Head of Facebook

Summer splash with Mr Pool Man

It’s summertime here in Australia which means we don our swimsuits and take a long-awaited dip in the nearest pool! The warmer weather brings an influx of sales for our client Mr Pool Man who ran their once yearly sale over the Black Friday Cyber Monday period which went swimmingly might we add, with November being of their best months so far.

“Mr Pool Man don't do sales often, so in preparation we conducted industry research with the help of Google. This determined our strategy to front load spend and maximise the seasonality of the pool & spa industry in the lead up to summer!” - Alyssa + Sam, Google Ads Account Manager's

Making a house a home with Kip&Co

We’ve spent a lot of time in our houses this year, so why not make your house a home you WANT to spend time in.

With the homewares category being a big winner across the board this year, one of our newest clients, Kip&Co, celebrated their largest month on record in November! With a great selection of Christmas gifting ideas, Kip&Co is at the top of our wishlist this year, go check them out!

“We tried a new campaign type called "Conversion Impression" this BFCM. This resulted in a lower CPM and allowed us to spread Kip&Co’s sale massaging far and wide to an audience whose intent is to buy. This delivered amazing results for them and especially on the last day with their final hours messaging” - Mia, Digital Account Manager

A huge congratulations to all that were nominated and especially to those who won in each category. These past 18 months have seen huge changes to our industry and although we unfortunately didn't walk away with a win it's an honour to be recognised among the top independent agencies in Australia and New Zealand for the; lead generation, account team and online sales categories!

Summer Fridays fun with the WebSavvy team

After another tough year of lockdowns, missed celebrations and cancelled holidays, we’ve decided to introduce a new initiative to help encourage our team to focus on their health and wellbeing over the summer season.

Each Friday during summer, we’ll be encouraging our team to log off a little earlier, any time from around 2pm, when they can, to enjoy the sunshine, catch up with friends and take some time for themselves.

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas and festive break. Bring on 2022!

The WebSavvy team x
