All About You
In addition to managing your own client book, this newly developed role will have you using your influencing skills for our lead nurturing and Customer On-boarding Program.
Your considerable experience within a digital agency means you can ‘talk a good talk’ about AdWords, so your advanced AdWords experience is essential. As an advocate, trusted guide and knowledgeable expert in selling digital marketing you’ll love the challenge of securing new business leads and developing strong working relationships to increase revenue and growth. (Don’t worry you’ll be provided with qualified inbound leads– no cold calling!)
You’ll also need to understand business and have strategic discussions with prospects about their various businesses. People skills are therefore very important as you’ll be dealing with a wide variety of clients (many of them strong-willed business owners). You will have strong stakeholder engagement skills and good business acumen. You are an aspiring digital strategist who will be working with a team of ‘doers’ to actually do the work on the account, as well as higher level strategy implementation.
What you will be doing
Develop & roll out strategies across all client campaigns, supported by team of specialists (AdWords, Facebook, Bing, analytics & conversion rate optimisation)
Conduct introductory calls with new leads and prepare service proposals
Deliver a consistent and clear on-boarding experience
Manage your own clients day-to-day & share your knowledge of digital concepts with clients and your team
Minimise churn by delighting clients & getting epic results
Work closely with the team around strategy and execution and leverage team talents, automation/machine learning to create efficiencies
Identify and communicate new opportunities for clients
Manage other digital marketing channels where applicable
What you’ll bring with you
Confident B2B selling skills and experience
Comprehensive knowledge of automation and the ability to enhance internal efficiencies in a scalable way
Strong AdWords knowledge, with proven experience working on accounts
Some analytics experience a bonus
Strong skills in Google and Excel (ideally you can make pivot tables dance & sing)
Demonstrated passion for continual learning and personal growth
Strong project management skills
Superb interpersonal, written & verbal communication skills
Ability to work autonomously
Ability to understand the big picture but enjoy zooming in and working on the details
Pass Google AdWords exams & stay current
