People and Culture Generalist

We work with some amazing businesses, including frank green, Kip&Co, Sheet Society and NOBULL to name a few. And we genuinely get a kick out of helping businesses grow.

We’ve grown up a lot in the past few years, with our incredible team doubling in size and our client portfolio expanding. So now it’s time to bring in a P&C expert to help us through the next exciting stage of growth and beyond.

We are looking for a down to earth, experienced People & Culture Generalist to help us with a range of people related functions, projects and activities to help WebSavvy be an even greater place to work. From recruitment, to engagement surveys, updating policies, working with the team on career development opportunities all the way to being our internal Culture Amp Champ.

This role would be ideal for someone with at least 2-3 years experience in the P&C space. You might have much more experience, and are looking to join a flexible and supportive business that meets your want for flexibility and your lifestyle needs.

We are a small business (~33 team members) so someone that has worked in P&C for a small business and understands the differences between us and a big corporate would be ideal. This is an operational and strategic role so you will be owning this space end to end, whilst working collaboratively with the team. This is your chance to really make this role your own.

What will you be doing?
- Reporting into the GM, in this newly created position you will play a key role in supporting our most important people - our team
- End to end recruitment for all roles across the business
- Be our internal Culture Amp champ! We’ve recently implemented Culture Amp and we’d love a champion in the business to show us all the possibilities and make the most out of the platform
- Managing the performance review cycle
- Employee onboarding and offboarding
- Building a strong and trusted relationship with the entire WebSavvy team
- Helping to identify career development opportunities for the team
- Getting involved with key business projects centered around our focus on team
- Identifying any actual, or potential, people issues impacting the business and determine practical and effective solutions
- Building out programs to ensure continuous improvement to the overall WebSavvy team experience
- Ensure our policies are up to date
- We love our team players to be proactive in identifying opportunities and to have tenacity to resolve issues
- This is a hands on operational role. We are a fast-growing business and it's all hands on deck to help build out smarter ways to work

Who are you?
You’re a P&C generalist. You have 2+ years experience in a P&C role working in small business environments and appreciate the need to roll up your sleeves and get things done.
