We Have A Winner!

WebSavvy is very pleased to announce that one of our Google Ads experts, Aden Chew, took home an award in Google’s prestigious Honours program.

Aden was awarded the  Brave Penguin Award at the Google Performance Honours Awards.  WebSavvy also had two other team members nominated, Brave Penguin Nominee Crystal  & Wild Card Nominee Caitlin Grau.

Whenever we ask Aden what he’d like to focus on in the near future, he’s always said “whatever the business needs.”

The Google Honours Program

The Google Honours program recognises the achievements of the very best Search & YouTube marketing agencies and providers across Australia and New Zealand.

More than 60 companies entered the competition and were measured against specific product metrics indicative of YouTube/Search Excellence, metrics designed to deliver the best possible results for clients.

What’s The Brave Penguin Award?

The Brave Penguin Award gets handed out each quarter to one individual who takes the action of a brave penguin.

Brave penguins are the first to dive into icy waters not knowing what dangers lie beneath. For Google, a Brave Penguin is someone who is the first mover on a new Google product, finds a solution to a critical problem and in turn becomes an industry leader.

Aden received the award for implementing a number of experiments that determined the most profitable way forward for one of WebSavvy’s clients.  Aden’s work was able to increase revenue for a number of King LASIK clinics.  Those leads helped the parent company increase total revenue by $1.3 million! An outstanding result!

When asked about the win Aden told us “I’m really honoured and grateful to receive this award and the opportunity to represent WebSavvy amongst the top agencies in AU & NZ.”

“Aden is a hard working team member who is devoted to our clients success. His clients love working with him and he always does that bit extra to learn or implement something new.”
– Mike Rhodes, WebSavvy CEO

Enroute to Google HQ

The team at WebSavvy are extremely proud of Aden, and of course very excited to hear all about Aden’s trip to Google HQ in Mountain View California to attend a summit for award winners.  Aden is an excellent example of the WebSavvy values – experimenting with a better alternative and having fun along the way!
