Here at WebSavvy, we have been closely monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic which has affected millions of people across every continent to date. It is an extremely worrying time and right now, as CEO of WebSavvy, it is my responsibility — and ours as a company — to do everything we can to support our employees and clients.
Our clients come from varied industries and many are scrambling to provide continuity in their services and operations.
With that in mind, I want to personally update you on the steps we have taken to ensure business continuity for all our customers around the world.
We moved the entire team to work from home in early March and they’re doing an amazing job of staying positive, talking to clients and running all the campaigns that are still needed.
It’s the little things like virtual lunches (and beers!), daily scheduled chats and team playlists that keep the energy and spirits up.
We’ve never locked clients into long-term contracts, which is serving them well right now. Flexibility is needed from all quarters right now and we’re doing everything we can to pause campaigns, stop charging and simply have empathy with our wonderful clients.
I’d urge all agencies to do the same.
Teaching has always been a big part of my role here and I continue to do that, talking to agency owners and marketing managers daily, creating content and jumping on webinars. There’s a heck of a lot I don’t know and I believe learning from others and sharing our thoughts and ideas is more important than ever.
We are living in unprecedented times and the situation is unfolding hourly. As a company, our commitment to generosity, kindness, empathy and relationships were founding principles and during times of great challenge, that commitment is only strengthened in us.
Please stay safe, stay home and keep washing your hands. We will get through this if we stick together.
