AdWords Account Setup – we’ll setup your Google account & AdWords account for you, make sure all the settings are correct & that it links to your Google Analytics account (yep we can set that up for you too).
Keyword Research – it’s often been said online that content is king, in which case keywords are queen. It’s vital for your sanity & ROI to choose the right keywords on which to bid. Let’s look at an example. Say you sell tax accounting services in Sydney. Phrases such as ‘tax’ or ‘sydney’ are too broad & not relevant enough to what you actually offer (however the system will let you bid on them – as long as you pay a small fortune!). Very long phrase such as ‘where can I find a really good tax accountant in central sydney’ are effectively useless. It would take you a year to come up with all the various combinations of those (& all the other) words you could use. In other words they’re too specific. The trick with AdWords is to hit the middle ground; not too broad, not too specific – just right. And to have a combination of short head, mid-tail & long tail keywords in separate groups.
Competition Research – one of the great things about Google AdWords is that all advertisers leave tracks. That means that it’s possible to see a lot of what your competitors are doing. When starting out this means positioning your offer in a unique way in the market. How can you stand out? Be remarkable compared to the other advertisers? Once you’re proficient with AdWords you may want to ‘spy’ on those competitors & see what they change. Are they bidding on the same keywords as you? Which Ads do they keep & which do they change? Why? We can show you how to monitor your competitors over time & what you can learn by doing that.
Negative Keyword Research – one of the least used aspects of the AdWords system is the ability to not show your ads to people that type in certain words or phrases. Not only does this stop the risk of those people accidentally clicking on your ad (which wastes money), it actually makes your cost of advertising go down over time. The reasons why are too complicated to go into here (ask us to explain) but it’s one of the tricks to the system: the better you get at using the system, the cheaper the cost of attracting those visitors to your website.

So many agencies create your campaigns under their own master account which leaves you locked in to their service. you leave, they keep the IP.
We don’t think that’s good for you, so we do things differently. You get to retain all the IP of our setup – even if you only stay for a month. There are no contracts, no red tape & you’re free to cancel at any time (we just ask for a little notice).
Payment is completely transparent, you pay Google for the cost of the clicks (& get to keep the frequent flier points), we just get paid for the management of the account.
